Women in Data Science, AI&ML Sweden is back!

In this mini-conference, we bring two technical talks on experimentation and data science for product, as well as a panel on the same subject, followed by a fun mingle in gather.town. Join us on June 3rd!

As usual, our events are organized by female data scientists and machine learning practitioners and feature only women on stage. However, participants of all genders and backgrounds are more than welcome to attend! Presentations are intentionally fairly technical and aimed towards current or aspiring data scientists, data engineers, machine learning engineers, as well as other AI experts.

Invited Speakers

Technical Talk: "Enabling experimentation at Spotify"

Enabling experimentation with millions of users and across many platforms comes with challenges. This talk will give an overview of how we are building the tools for enabling teams at Spotify to experiment at scale - From how we manage the user experience in the app, enable coordination of hundreds of simultaneous experiments, to some of the methods we have in place to help teams run high-quality experiments and look out for potential issues.

Caroline Thordenberg

Caroline is a Data Scientist working on the Experimentation Platform team at Spotify - the team responsible for building the internal experimentation platform. She is an Hyper Island alumni, holds an M.Sc Pharm from Uppsala University and did graduate studies at UCL. She has a background in data-driven product development and in the pharmaceutical industry working within medical affairs and clinical trials data. Her combined background in product and medicine brought her to the world of experimentation where she is passionate about using the scientific toolbox to help guide product development and better decision making.
